For a Perfect Cup of Coffee

1. Pour Over:

  • Coffee to Water Ratio: Use 1 to 2 tablespoons of coffee per 6 ounces of water.
  • Water Temperature: Heat water to 195-205°F (90-96°C).
  • Instructions:
    1. Place a coffee filter in the dripper and rinse with hot water to preheat and remove paper taste.
    2. Add coffee grounds to the filter.
    3. Pour a small amount of hot water over the grounds to bloom (let it sit for 30 seconds).
    4. Slowly pour the remaining hot water in a circular motion over the grounds.

2. French Press:

  • Coffee to Water Ratio: Use 1 to 2 tablespoons of coffee per 6 ounces of water.
  • Water Temperature: Heat water to 195-205°F (90-96°C).
  • Instructions:
    1. Add coffee grounds to the French Press.
    2. Pour hot water over the grounds and stir gently.
    3. Place the lid on with the plunger pulled up.
    4. Let steep for 4 minutes.

3. Drip Coffee Maker:

  • Coffee to Water Ratio: Use 1 to 2 tablespoons of coffee per 6 ounces of water.
  • Water Temperature: The coffee maker will heat the water to the optimal temperature.
  • Instructions:

    2. Add coffee grounds to the filter.
